Casinos have become an American institution in themselves when it comes to attracting gamblers, tourists and the curious. They feature amazing architecture, luxurious accommodations and have welded themselves into American culture.

The first thing that strikes most people when they come up to a casino, especially in Las Vegas, is the stunning architecture. They work to mimic everything from a Greek palace, Japanese structures and even the circus. You cannot help but want to go inside and look around. There is then the entertainment attraction, which comes with high stakes games, spectacular shows and major singers who draw in the crowds. One even features theme park insides just inside its front doors. With doors that never close, you can find something to day any time of the day or night.

Many of the casinos also have a fascinating history when it comes to gambling and the local scene. Famous gamblers, games and stories still hang around to entice those who love to learn the hidden details behind the structure. The establishments do their best to leave an impression in the minds of visitors to make them want to come back. One aspect of their success is being able to offer something to everyone, even those who do not come to gamble. The hotels tied to the casinos have luxurious rooms, fine dining and other entertainments to make a stay worthwhile. The local shopping, attractions and other businesses that pop up around these monolithic gambling centers are an added attraction as well.
